It has been a world-wide phenomenon how natural calamities and disasters are happening to every country or region. Every now and then we hear stories of tsunamis devastating a city, of earthquakes taking thousands of lives, or of floods destroying lives and livelihoods. We also know of how a third world country like the Philippines is continuously suffering from malnutrition among kids who cannot be fed a decent meal by their families.

There are kids begging for money and working at a very early age to feed a younger sibling. We see kids out of schools and instead are wandering the streets learning to be independent at such a young age. In public hospitals, severe illnesses slowly take the lives of young and old alike.
