Just Be Entertained

The Philippines has become the melting pot of all cultures and entertainment. Just recently among the famous celebrities that thrilled the Philippines and vice versa are international singing sensations Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Miley Cyrus among many others. Famous bands Simple Plan, The Script, Maroon 5 have also gone thrilla Manila so to speak. Performing concerts regularly are Filipino pride Charice Pempengco, Apl.De.Ap (of the Black Eyed Peas), and Bruno Mars, and even our pound for pound champion, singing congressman Manny Pacquiao! Even television and movie stars like Chuck Bass and Ms. Paris Hilton have dropped by. Indeed the Philippines is one of the leading concert venues in Asia.

Not only do you find foreign acts in the Philippines, more importantly, we have our very own talented stars to be proud of. The Philippine culture is so rich and dynamic that every town, city, or region boasts of colorful traditions and talented culture. In fact, the entertainment scene in the Philippines is so alive and vibrant that there is a special celebration in different cities almost every month if not weekly. We have the Sinulog Festival every January in the beautiful Cebu City where street dance, procession and an elaborate parade; the Moriones Festival in Marinduque wows with the colorful parade; May is the month where every street corner pays tribute to their beautiful ladies; there is the Parade of the much sought after Lechon; the colorful Maskara Fetsival of Bacolod city; and the list could go on and on. Come to think of it, there is really no off peak season when visiting the beautiful Philippine Islands!
