The Philippines is so blessed to have been endowed with most of the world’s best beaches. With 7,107 islands that are surrounded by water, it is indeed a very popular tourist destination. There have been many foreign articles written about it. It has been documented over and over again by foreign media. Whatever type of sand and water you crave for, the Philippine islands have it.

If you explore up north, you will find the world’s best waves ideal for surfers. There is the Ilocos region boasting Pagudpud, perfect for windsurfers as the winds could not have been any better. The grassy hills of Batanes also have its own distinct waters that will put you in absolute awe. Short drive at the boundaries of the Philippines’ capital Manila, will bring you to Batangas and Zambales, both of rich beach resources, both popular destinations of city dwellers longing for a quick quality vacation. South of the Luzon islands are popular beaches with white sands of talc powder consistency such as Caramoan, a beach in the Bicol region used by a few seasons of the popular television hit “Survivor”.

Nobody would dare miss everyone’s ultimate favorite—Boracay! Nesting in the island of Aklan, Boracay has been for years the ultimate destination of locals and tourists alike. It has been developed to cater to the beach lover, the party-goer, and almost anyone looking for some chill-out time. Further down south is the more serene Palawan beaches which long for a more nature-inspired getaway. Among the most sought after vacation resorts are Amapulo, Coron, Busuanga, and El Nido. Not only are these popular beach destinations, they also are home to the best adventures that Mother Nature can offer. The Visayas Island is home to Cebu’s beautiful and bountiful beach resorts including Malapascua, Maribago, and Badian. Tagbilaran has Bohol which is not only home to popular beaches but to the world’s famous Chocolate Hills and tarsiers. Further down South of the Philippines is the Mindanao Island which is truly a beach serenity at its best, being the home of Samal Island’s long stretch of beautiful white sand beaches. Mindanao also has endless numerous pocket island beaches that are almost another country already.

It is a no-brainer that when it comes to beaches, the Philippine Islands definitely have it. It will be a shame not to frequently visit these blessed resources in your lifetime for if you have been here, you have definitely been to paradise.
